Troubleshoot submissions

Verified against commit 6c69a4b4 min read

If a meeting agenda item is missing, cannot be opened, or will not save, use the checks below. Most problems are caused by access level, required fields, an outdated browser page, or the item having been removed.

Common problems

Submissions that cannot be opened

  1. Return to the meeting agenda list and try opening the item again by selecting its row or card.
  2. Refresh the page, then try again. If you used an old bookmark or link, open the item from the current list instead.
  3. If the item no longer appears, it may have been deleted. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
  4. If other items open but one particular item does not, contact an administrator with the submitter’s name, agenda type, and approximate submission time.

You must be signed in to view meeting agenda submissions. If you are sent away from the page or see an access message, your account may not have permission to view it.

Meeting agendas that cannot be edited

Changes that are not appearing

  1. Look for a confirmation message that the meeting agenda was updated or submitted.
  2. Open the agenda details again, then refresh the page.
  3. Return to the list and remove search text and filters. Check the Submitted At value and remember that the newest items appear first.
  4. If you submitted a new item from the form window, close the window and refresh the list. The item should then be included in Total Submissions and in the relevant type count.
  5. If the page was open during a product update and saving fails with a message that the action could not be found, reload the page and submit the form again. Recheck the details before creating a second item, so you do not create a duplicate.
  6. If a confirmation appears but the old content remains after a full reload, record the agenda type, submitter, time of the change, and any reference shown in the error message. Then contact an administrator.

When to contact an administrator

Contact an administrator when:

An administrator can verify your access, confirm whether the item still exists, check the staff member’s status, and investigate repeated save failures.
