  2. Select Forgot password?
  3. Enter the email address associated with your account, then select Send reset link.
  4. Check your inbox and open the password-reset email.
  5. Select the reset link in the email. The Choose a new password screen opens.

If you already have a reset link, open it directly to go to the password-reset screen.

Key concepts

  3. Enter the identical password in Confirm password.
  4. Select Update password.

Tips & things to know

FAQ

How long is the reset link valid?

It is valid for 1 hour from the time it is sent.

Can I use the same reset link more than once?

No. Once the password has been changed, the link is cleared and cannot be reused.

What if I do not receive the reset email?

Check your spam or junk folder and confirm that you entered the correct email address. Return to the password-reset request screen and select Send reset link again. For account security, the system shows a general confirmation whether or not an eligible account exists for that email.

What password should I use?

Use a password from 8 to 64 characters that you have not used elsewhere. For a stronger rating, use at least 12 characters and include uppercase and lowercase letters, a number, and a special character.

Will I be signed in after I change my password?

The system attempts to sign you in automatically with the new password and take you to the main workspace. If that does not complete, return to the sign-in screen and sign in manually.

Can I change the email address shown on the reset screen?

No. The reset link is tied to the email address that requested it. To reset a different account, return to the sign-in screen and request a new link using that account's email address.

Troubleshooting

“This reset link has expired”

The link is older than 1 hour or expired while you were using it. Return to the sign-in screen, select Forgot password?, and request a new link.

“This reset link is invalid”

The link may be incomplete, damaged, or intended for a different purpose. Request a new link from the sign-in screen rather than copying or editing the link.

“This reset link has already been used or is invalid”

A password may already have been saved with that link. Request a new link and use the newest email. Avoid opening an older reset email after requesting another one.

“Password must be at least 8 characters”

Enter a password with 8 or more characters. Passwords longer than 64 characters are not accepted.

“Password must be at most 64 characters”

Shorten the password to 64 characters or fewer.

“Passwords do not match”

Check both fields carefully and enter the same password in Password and Confirm password. If the characters are difficult to compare, use the show-password control, then hide the password again before submitting.

The page remains on the reset screen after I select Update password

Check for an error message and correct the issue shown. If the link has expired or has already been used, request a new one. If the page still does not complete, refresh the page and use the newest reset email, or select Back to sign in and try signing in manually.

I opened the link but see “Reset link invalid”

The link is missing, incomplete, expired, or invalid. Select Request a new link, enter your account email, and use the latest reset email. Select Back to sign in if you want to return without resetting your password.
