The app can keep selected work information available without an internet connection and hold submissions until you reconnect. Use this guide to understand what you can see offline, what to do when a change is still waiting, and how to avoid creating duplicate work.
Check your device’s Wi-Fi or mobile-data connection, then wait a moment. The app checks the connection again when it changes. When access returns, the page reloads after the connection has remained available briefly.
While offline, open the Recently visited pages shown on the offline screen, or choose a page under Pages with offline data. The latter shows how many records are available and when they were last synced. Only pages with information already downloaded to this device can be opened.
If you are back online but the page does not return, choose Try again. This button is unavailable while you are offline. You can also open Sync status to review the connection, waiting submissions, failed submissions, and local information.
The message Page not available offline means the page has not been prepared for offline use on this device. Return to Recently visited, or reconnect and open the page normally. The app will then have an opportunity to download the information needed for later offline access.
The message This record isn't synced yet means the app has no local copy of that particular record. Reconnect, open the record, and allow it to finish loading before going offline again.
Offline access is a saved snapshot, not a complete replacement for the connected experience. The offline detail view displays selected fields such as status, client, site, manager, dates, hours, safety details, and assigned people, depending on the type of record.
The full connected view is unavailable until you reconnect. This includes edits, photos, and linked items. Information changed by other people after the snapshot was downloaded may not appear until the device syncs again.
The offline screen can provide access to recently visited pages and pages with locally synced data, including areas such as Bookings, Jobs, Time Sheets, Staff, Assets, Clients, Hazards, SRA, Site inspections, Asset inspections, Accident incidents, SQIF, Corrective actions, and Timesheets. The exact pages shown depend on what has been downloaded to your device and whether those pages are available to your account.
If the app shows You haven't opened any offline-capable pages yet, and no data has been synced to this device. Reconnect and visit a page (e.g. Daily, Jobs) to download data for offline use., reconnect and visit the pages you need before leaving coverage.
When you save work offline, the app keeps the change on the device and marks the affected record Pending sync. The connected status screen describes this as Offline — changes will sync when back online.
To check progress:
The app normally starts sending waiting submissions when the connection returns. Keep it open until the pending count falls, especially after recording important safety, time, or job information.
If a submission cannot be sent, it appears under Failed with an explanation. Choose Retry after correcting the connection or any issue described. If you no longer want to send it, choose Discard—only do this when you are certain the information is not needed.
A submission is tried up to five times. After the fifth unsuccessful attempt, it stops retrying automatically and remains under Failed until you choose Retry or Discard. If the device loses its connection again, waiting submissions remain on the device for a later attempt.
Avoid submitting the same form again just because the first submission is still marked pending. First check Pending uploads, then wait for the device to reconnect and try the queued item. Repeating the form can create a second submission.
If you edited the same record both offline and online, reconnect and check the connected record before making another change. The app removes an older waiting edit when a newer successful edit for that record is saved while online, helping prevent an old offline edit from replacing the newer one. However, the offline screen is only a snapshot, so it cannot show the latest connected version until it reloads.
If you see two records or two submissions after reconnecting:
If a queued change succeeds, the app replaces its temporary offline copy with the saved connected record. If it repeatedly fails, the pending item is moved to Failed rather than being sent indefinitely.
Contact your supervisor or administrator when:
When asking for help, include the affected record, when you made the change, whether you were online or offline, and the text shown under Failed or beside the local information. Do not clear the app’s site data or reset the device before an administrator has checked for pending work, because that may remove unsent information stored on the device.
