The Daily screen gives your team a focused view of bookings scheduled for the current day. Use it to see who is working, what equipment is assigned, where the work is taking place, and the instructions for the booking. You can then open a booking to review its full details and start related records such as a time sheet or safety risk assessment.
Getting there
Sign in.
Open Today from the main navigation.
The page heading shows Today — followed by the current date. The page is available to staff, foremen, managers, and administrators. If you are not signed in, you are asked to sign in before the page is shown.
Key concepts
Today shows bookings that overlap the current day. A booking can therefore appear even when it started earlier or finishes later.
Each daily activity card represents a booking. Cards can show the job or booking name, manager, foreman, site address, crew size, asset count, asset labels, and a short description.
The list is not limited to bookings where you are personally assigned. Staff and foremen can view the full schedule shown on the Daily screen.
A booking’s detail view can include dates, foreman, site address, description, special precautions, assigned staff, assigned assets, linked quote, and photos.
Daily activities do not currently have a separate “complete” or “mark as complete” control. Completing the work is not recorded from the Daily screen itself. Use the related work records available from the booking, such as a time sheet or SRA, where appropriate.
How to view daily activities
Open Today.
Review the cards for the day. If there are no matching bookings, the page displays No bookings for today.
Select a card to open the booking details.
Use Calendar on the detail page to return to the Daily list.
The cards help you prepare before going to site. Check the displayed manager and foreman, the crew and asset counts, the site address, asset labels, and the booking description. The current date and booking dates are displayed in New Zealand date format.
How to complete a daily activity
There is no completion button for a daily activity in the current Daily workflow. To record the work associated with a booking:
Open the relevant booking from Today.
Select New Time Sheet when you need to record time for the booking. This option is available to foremen and above from the Daily detail view.
Select New SRA when you need to create a safety risk assessment for the work. This option is available to staff and above.
Complete and save the selected record in its own screen.
Creating a time sheet or SRA does not change the booking to a completed status from the Daily screen. If your team needs a booking-status update, contact the person who manages your account or booking schedule.
How to review an activity
Open a booking card to review the information available for that activity:
Booking Info: dates, foreman, site address, description, and any Special precautions.
Staff: the people assigned to the booking. If nobody is assigned, the page shows No staff assigned.
Assets: the equipment assigned to the booking. If none is assigned, the page shows No assets assigned.
Linked Quote: the quote number, title, and—when your access allows it—the total in NZD. Select View quote to open the quote. A Public link may also be available.
Photos: photos uploaded for the booking. If none are available, the page shows No photos.
If the booking is linked to a job, select View Job to open that job. Use the print control on the detail page when you need a paper or printable copy of the booking information.
Tips & things to know
Review the Special precautions before starting work. This information is shown only when it has been entered and your access allows you to see it.
Confirm the site address, crew, foreman, and assets before leaving for the job.
A booking can span more than one day, so check both its start and end dates.
The Daily list may contain more than one card. Select each relevant card rather than assuming the first card is your only activity.
If the list looks out of date, check the freshness notice shown above the cards and refresh when appropriate.
New Booking is shown on the Today page, but creating a booking depends on your account permissions. If you cannot continue, ask a manager or administrator.
You can open booking details from the Daily screen even when you are not the assigned foreman or crew member, subject to your account access.
FAQ
Can I mark a daily activity as complete?
Not from the current Daily screen. There is no separate completion control. Record the relevant work with a time sheet, SRA, or another applicable workflow, and ask your manager about any required booking-status update.
Why can’t I see any activities?
The Daily screen shows bookings that overlap the current day. If there are none, it displays No bookings for today. Check that you are viewing the correct day and that the booking has been scheduled for today.
Can staff view every booking on the Daily screen?
The Daily list is available to staff, foremen, managers, and administrators, and staff and foremen can view the full schedule shown there. Access to some linked information and actions may still vary by role.
Who can create a time sheet from a daily activity?
From the Daily detail view, New Time Sheet is available to foremen and above. Staff can still have access to time-sheet workflows elsewhere when their account permissions allow it.
Who can create an SRA?
New SRA is available to signed-in staff, foremen, managers, and administrators from the booking detail view.
Why is a quote or quote total missing?
The booking may not have a linked quote, or your account may not have permission to view the quote’s shared or financial information. Ask a manager or administrator if you need access checked.
What should I do if a booking is missing its crew or equipment?
Open the booking and check the Staff and Assets sections. If the page shows No staff assigned or No assets assigned, contact the person responsible for scheduling so the booking can be updated.
