Set up access to 3PM Drive with a one-time sign-in code, then create your first Asset. This guide covers signing in, changing the email you use, and completing the essentials on the Asset form.
Open 3PM Drive and go to the sign-in screen. You will see 3PM Drive — System Admin and an Email field.
To create an Asset after signing in, open Assets and choose the option to add a new Asset. The Asset form opens with Add Asset at the top.
If you need another code, select Resend code when it becomes available. After a code is sent, the resend option is unavailable for 60 seconds.
You can use Decode beside Rego Number when the value has at least five characters. If the lookup returns information, 3PM Drive can fill related manufacturer details. You can also enter those details manually.
The sign-in code contains six digits.
Yes. You can paste up to six digits into the code fields.
Resending is paused for 60 seconds after a code is sent. Select Resend code when the countdown ends.
No. Asset Name is required; the remaining Asset details are optional.
Yes. Teams supports multiple selections.
Yes. A photo is optional.
The new Asset form allows you to select available forms and one available service plan while creating the Asset. You can also leave both sections unselected.
Check that the email in Email is correct, then use Change email to correct it if needed. Check your spam or junk folder. If you already requested a code, wait until the 60-second resend countdown ends and select Resend code.
Enter all six digits. If the code screen clears after an unsuccessful attempt, request a new code and enter the new six-digit code.
Wait for the countdown to finish. The option is disabled for 60 seconds after a code is sent.
Check that Asset Name is filled in. If you entered Rego Number, make sure it is between 5 and 17 characters. If you entered Year, make sure it is between 1900 and the current year. Correct any highlighted fields and select Create Asset again.
Confirm that the file is an image and smaller than 5MB. You can remove the photo and create the Asset without it.
The form only lists available forms and service plans. If the relevant section shows No forms available or No service plans available, create the Asset without that selection and continue when the option becomes available.
