Account Settings

Getting there

1. Sign in to 3PM Drive.
2. Open Profile to manage your personal details, Address, Work Access, Account, and Your organisations.
3. Open Settings, then select Admin Settings to manage available account settings.

If a setting is not shown, you may not have access to that area. Ask an administrator to review your permissions.

Key concepts

• Profile contains your personal details and access information.
• Personal Information includes your first name, last name, email, phone number, profile photo, and Address.
• Work Access shows your organisation, role, team, and time zone. Your role and team are read-only in Profile.
• Account shows whether your account is active and whether your email is verified. It also shows your most recent sign-in when available.
• Your organisations lists the organisations associated with your account and identifies your current organisation.
• Settings contains organisation-wide configuration. The available areas include Assets, Stock, Work Orders, Inspections, Notifications, Connections, and Integrations.

How to update Personal Information

1. Open Profile.
2. Select Personal Information.
3. Select Edit.
4. Update your first name, last name, phone number, or profile photo.
5. Select Save.

Your first name and last name are required. Your email is displayed for reference and cannot be changed in Profile.

To change your profile photo, select the photo while Edit is active and choose an image file. The image must be smaller than 5 MB.

To discard changes before saving, select Cancel. Your details return to the values that were loaded when you started editing.

How to update Address

1. Open Profile and select Personal Information.
2. Select Edit.
3. In Address, search for and select an address from the suggestions.
4. Check the displayed address details.
5. Select Save.

Selecting a suggested address fills the address information used by 3PM Drive. If you leave Address empty and save, your address is cleared.

How to manage Work Access

1. Open Profile.
2. Select Work Access.
3. Review your organisation, role, team, time zone, and Account status.

Your role and team are managed by an administrator in People and cannot be changed from Profile. The organisation name can be edited only by an organisation administrator or owner. If you have that access:

1. Select Edit while viewing Work Access.
2. Update the organisation name.
3. Select Save.

The organisation name is shared across your 3PM apps. Select Cancel to leave it unchanged.

How to manage Account settings

1. Open Settings.
2. Select Admin Settings.
3. Expand the relevant area and select a setting.
4. Make your changes, then use the save action shown in that setting.

The available account settings include:

• Assets: manage Asset Types.
• Stock: manage Measurement Units, Stock Categories, and Stock Locations. When an app connection is active, some master data is managed in the connected app.
• Work Orders: manage Work Order Statuses, Meter Readings, and Labour Rate. Labour Rate accepts a non-negative hourly amount and is set to 0 by default when no rate has been configured. When 3PM Drive is connected to Command, approved timesheets and staff pay rates calculate the real labour cost instead of this rate.
• Inspections: manage Forms Inspection rules and the Driver Inspections policy.
• Notifications: use Alert Recipients to choose whether each alert goes to the responsible team, the whole company, or no one, and which roles receive it.
• Connections: use Apps to connect to other 3PM apps and manage available data connections.
• Integrations: use IoT Hub to configure EROAD, Navman, Blackhawk, or Cartrack and select Sync now to bring device information into Assets.

For Meter Readings, you can choose whether readings entered while completing a work order or logging a service update the asset’s current meter. A manual Add Reading action on an asset’s Meter tab always updates the current meter.

How to manage Your organisations

1. Open Profile.
2. Select Work Access.
3. Scroll to Your organisations.
4. Review the organisations listed and the role shown for each one.

Your current organisation is marked Current. Your organisations is shown when your account has organisations associated with it. The list is for review; organisation membership and roles are managed by administrators.

Tips & things to know

• Use Cancel before saving if you want to undo edits in Profile.
• Edit applies to the part of Profile you are viewing.
• Your email is read-only in Personal Information.
• Your role, team, account status, email verification status, and time zone are read-only in Profile.
• Settings may be read-only if you can view an area but do not have permission to manage it.
• For notification rules, leaving roles empty sends the alert to everyone in the selected scope. Selecting No one stops that notification.
• IoT Hub requires at least one provider before Sync now can be used. A sync reports devices fetched, created, updated, and any errors.
• If Labour Rate is set to 0, 3PM Drive does not track labour cost from that standalone rate.
