If something goes wrong in Purchasing, use the checks below to get back to your work in 3PM Command. This guide covers product deletion, bill assignment, Work Order access, and returning an approved Work Order to draft.
If an area or action is not available, your account may not have the required access. Ask your 3PM Command administrator to check your Purchasing permissions.
If you see Access Restricted:
Access can also affect individual actions. For example, editing and deleting depend on your access and, in some areas, whether you created the item. If you can open an item but cannot edit, assign, archive, or delete it, ask your administrator to review your access.
Work Order Not Found usually means the link no longer points to an available Work Order, or you do not have permission to view it.
Try the following:
When a Work Order cannot be opened, select Back to Work Orders to return to the Work Orders list. You can then search for or select another Work Order.
You can also return there by opening Purchasing and selecting Work Orders.
You can revert a Work Order from Approved to Draft when the Revert to Draft action is available.
Revert to Draft applies to an approved Work Order. If the action is not shown, check that the Work Order is approved and ask your administrator to review your access.
Assign Bill is available for a bill with an Unreconciled cost assignment and requires edit access. Check the bill’s cost assignment and contact your administrator if the action is still unavailable.
Bills can be edited when their status is Draft and their cost assignment is not receipted. A bill with another status, or a bill already marked receipted, cannot be edited from the list.
No. Delete Permanently cannot be undone. Use the archive option instead when you may need the supplier product again.
The action is available for an approved Work Order. Open the Work Order from Work Orders, confirm its status is Approved, and check that you have the required access.
The Purchase Order may no longer be available, the link may have expired, or you may not have permission to view it. Return to Purchase Order from Purchasing and open it from the list. If it is missing, ask the person who sent the link or your administrator to confirm the Purchase Order.
Open the Purchase Order and review Items, Supplier Address, Ship To Address, and Special Instructions in the Purchase Order details.
