3PM Command has a few limits that can affect access, uploads, list views and everyday workflows. Knowing these limits can help you prepare files, understand what you see on screen and resolve access issues more quickly.
Known limitations
File uploads support a maximum of 10 MB for non-video files.
Video uploads support a maximum of 500 MB.
Accepted upload formats include images, Documents, Spreadsheets, Presentations, Video, Archives and Data. The available extensions include JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, SVG, PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, XLS, XLSX, CSV, PPT, PPTX, MP4, WEBM, OGG, MOV, AVI, MKV, ZIP, RAR, 7Z, JSON and XML.
The Projects list shows a preview of up to three assigned Staff members. Select “+N more” to view the full assigned Staff list for a Project.
List views show up to 25 items per page, while grid views show up to 20 items at a time. Use the available pages or continue scrolling where provided to view more items.
Account access limitations
Your access depends on your role and the permissions assigned to you. Some areas and actions may not be available to every member of your organization.
You must select an organization before using organization-specific areas, including Buddy.
If an administrator changes your role or permissions, the change can take up to 30 seconds to appear across 3PM Command.
If you see “Access denied” or a similar message, you may not have permission for that area or action, your access may have been removed, or your session may have expired.
If your session has expired, sign in again and retry the action. If you still cannot open an area, ask an administrator to review your role and permissions.
Record and workflow limitations
A file that is empty, corrupted or still being written cannot be uploaded. Select the file again after it is ready.
A non-video file larger than 10 MB is rejected. Reduce the file size or choose a smaller file before uploading.
A video larger than 500 MB is rejected. Compress the video or choose a shorter or smaller file.
Buddy allows up to five attachments in one message. Buddy attachments must be images, PDF, TXT, CSV or Excel files, and each attachment must be no larger than 10 MB.
The Projects list intentionally loads only the first three assigned Staff members for each Project. This does not remove or change the assigned Staff. Open “+N more” to see the remaining Staff members.
An upload can fail when the file type is not supported, the file is empty, the file cannot be read or the connection is interrupted. Retry with a supported, ready-to-open file.
Tips & things to know
Check the file size before uploading. For non-video files, keep the file at or below 10 MB; for videos, keep it at or below 500 MB.
Use a supported file format and avoid uploading a file while another application is still saving it.
In the Projects list, use the Staff names shown in the row for a quick preview. Select “+N more” when you need the complete assigned Staff list.
After an administrator updates access, wait up to 30 seconds, then refresh 3PM Command or open the area again.
If an upload continues to fail, create a smaller copy of the file and try again. For Buddy, check both the 10 MB per-file limit and the five-attachment limit.
If you cannot access an area after signing in again, contact your 3PM Command administrator and include the organization and area you were trying to open.
