Notifications in 3PM Base help you keep track of updates without losing your place. Use the checks below when an alert is missing, its read state looks wrong, a snoozed message does not appear, or notification delivery has failed.
Start by opening Notifications from the notification bell. The list shows the newest notifications first.
Tip: If the list is still loading, wait for Loading notifications... to finish before selecting an alert or opening its actions menu.
A notification with a colored dot and stronger card styling is unread. Selecting a notification related to a quote, or selecting Mark as read from its actions menu, marks it as read.
To clear unread notifications:
You can also open a notification's actions menu and select Mark as read for one notification. Marking a notification as read does not delete or archive it. If the unread count does not update, close and reopen Notifications, then refresh 3PM Base.
To temporarily hide a notification:
The notification is removed from the current list while it is snoozed. It becomes available again when the selected period ends. If it is not visible afterwards, refresh 3PM Base and check that it was not also archived or deleted.
Review your notification preferences when alerts are not being delivered as expected. Check that notifications are enabled, that the relevant notification category is enabled, and that the notification priority and type are allowed. Notification preferences can also control in-app, email, and SMS delivery, along with instant or digest frequency where those options are available.
Quiet hours use a 24-hour time format such as 22:00 or 08:00. Critical notifications are not restricted by the quiet-hours delivery check. Quiet-hours time-zone handling is not currently applied to delivery, so do not rely on quiet hours to suppress non-critical notifications.
Muted quotes and muted clients can also prevent expected updates. Remove the relevant mute when you need notifications for that quote or client again.
New notification preferences start with notifications enabled. The default in-app delivery setting is enabled for all categories; email is enabled by default for client and system notifications, and SMS is disabled by default. Lower-priority background task notifications are disabled by default.
Failed notification records are available only to System Administrator and Admin users. If you have either role, review failed records and filter them by:
A failed notification includes its title, message, type, priority, failure reason, number of delivery attempts, and time of the last attempt. Delivery is retried up to three attempts. The retry delay increases after each failed attempt, starting at five seconds. After the maximum attempts, the failure is recorded for administrator review.
To resolve a failed notification, open its record and mark it resolved. You can add resolution notes to record what was done. Resolved records are automatically removed after 90 days.
If a notification is blocked by your notification preferences, it may not be delivered and may not appear as a delivery failure. Check the relevant preferences before asking an administrator to review a failed notification.
Contact your 3PM Base administrator when:
Include the notification title, approximate time, affected quote or client if applicable, and the steps you already tried. Do not include passwords or other sensitive account information.
