Forms troubleshooting

A Form will not open

Return to Forms and open the Form again. If the problem continues, refresh 3PM Base and try once more. A Form may also fail to open if the Form Builder connection is not ready.

Form and Submission checks

Check the Form list

1. Open Forms.
2. Use the search field to find the Form by title.
3. Select the Form to open its Submissions.
4. If there are more than 20 Forms, use Previous and Next to move between pages.

Search starts a short time after you stop typing. If your search returns no results, remove some of the search text and try again.

Check Submissions and records

• Confirm that you are viewing the correct Form.
• Check the Submitted At column and the form fields shown in the table.
• Use the actions menu for a record to select View Details or Edit.
• Select New Submission when you need to add a Submission.
• If the Form has no Submissions, use New Submission to create one.
• If you cannot see a delete option, your Forms permissions may not allow you to delete the record. If the delete option is available, 3PM Base asks you to confirm before removing the record.

Submissions are shown 20 at a time. Use Previous and Next at the bottom of the list to view additional pages.

A Submission or record is missing

Check the Form title, clear any search text on the Forms list, and review all Submission pages. If the record was recently created or edited in Form Builder, return to Forms and reload the list before checking again.

External form service checks

3PM Base displays Form Builder in the Form Builder tab. When the connection is ready, the Form Builder workspace opens inside 3PM Base.

If Form Builder shows that it is not connected:

1. Confirm that you are signed in with your 3PM Base account.
2. Refresh 3PM Base and open the Form Builder tab again.
3. If the onboarding option is shown, select it and wait for the process to finish.
4. Return to Forms and check whether your Forms and Submissions are available.

If Form Builder opens as a blank area or does not finish loading, check your internet connection, temporarily disable browser extensions that block embedded content, and try a current version of your browser. Do not close the page while a new Submission or record is being saved.

If Form Builder is available but a Form or Submission is not visible in 3PM Base, check that the Form is published in Form Builder and that you are using the same 3PM Base account in both places.

When to try again

Try again after:

• refreshing 3PM Base;
• checking that you are in the correct account and Form;
• clearing the search field;
• waiting for Form Builder onboarding or loading to finish; or
• checking your internet connection and browser extensions.

After creating or editing a Submission, return to Forms and reload the Form before checking the list. Avoid repeating an action while a loading indicator is still visible, so you do not create a duplicate Submission.

When to get help

Contact your 3PM Base Admin when Forms is missing, Form Builder remains disconnected, or you need your Forms permissions checked.

When you contact support, include:

• the name of the Form;
• what you were trying to do, such as open a Form, create a Submission, edit a record, or delete a record;
• the approximate time the problem occurred; and
• the message shown in 3PM Base, if there is one.

Do not include sensitive Submission information unless support specifically asks for it.
